What we collect

When you create an account, we store your email address and basic profile information needed to operate the service. If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment processing is handled by Stripe — we never store your card details.

Music & files

Music files you upload to vAMP Cloud are stored in private cloud storage. Your files are never shared with third parties. We do not scan, analyze, or listen to your uploaded content, except when you explicitly use AI metadata tagging features.

AI metadata processing

When you use AI-powered metadata tagging, limited information about your tracks (such as audio fingerprints or filenames) may be sent to third-party AI services for identification. This data is used solely to return metadata results and is not retained by those services.

Local usage

The free desktop and mobile apps work entirely offline. No data is collected or transmitted when using vAMP without an account.

Analytics

We collect minimal, anonymized usage analytics to improve the product. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.

Children

vAMP is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. Creating an account requires meeting the age requirements in our Terms of Service. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account or provided us with personal information, contact us using the details below and we will delete the account and its data.

Data deletion

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from your account settings. If you can no longer sign in, use our account deletion page to request it. Upon deletion, all uploaded files and account information are permanently removed within 30 days.
